Summer’s Greetings! You don’t want to miss our next civic league meeting. Our speaker will be Mike McCarthy with the Public Utilities Engineering Department of the City of Virginia Beach. He will give us details of the imminent sewer installation scheduled for our neighborhood this fall and answer your questions. Please plan on attending this informative meeting next Tuesday, July 30, 7:00 p.m. at Lynnhaven United Methodist Church. We’ve shared two fun evenings and our next game is scheduled for this Wednesday, July 24 at Denise Padrick’s home. Call her, 486-4765, if you’d like to join us – NO experience necessary! If you can’t make it this month, but would like to be added to our substitute list, call Tess Bradlee, 463-6217. This fall we’ll devote one game night to a couple’s bunco, stay tuned for details. Our dues drive is another success story with almost a 50% response rate. Our treasury is growing and currently our balance is $2,072.
